Each B.Tech. batch (e.g., 2025 EE1 batch) is assigned a Class Committee that provides consistent academic guidance throughout the program. The committee comprises a chairperson, two faculty mentors, and elected student representatives. Students are encouraged to consult their faculty mentors for guidance on course planning, selecting EE Tracks, and registration matters. The committee convenes each semester to review academic feedback, suggest electives for upcoming semesters, and organize Student-Teacher Interaction Committee (STIC) events to foster student-faculty engagement.
Students can discuss a wide range of topics with their faculty advisors, including:
Course Selection and Sequencing: Planning your course load for upcoming semesters, especially for electives and focus area EE Tracks.
Academic Performance: Strategies for improving grades and handling academic probation if necessary.
Career and Post-Graduation Plans: Discussing your interests in internships, research opportunities, and career pathways.
